Located on historic grounds, Friedens Community Center preserves a legacy of community and connection. This cherished property will serve as a vibrant hub for growth where all walks of life are united.

Community Space
Dedicated to People
Through a variety of offerings, both free & paid, we commit every corner this place to the community. There will be free-to-use outdoor and indoor space for people to gather, work, play, and connect. Additions, and enhancements to the offerings and services of Friedens Community Center will be directly driven by actively solicited first hand community feedback.

In this community space we are bringing opportunities and experiences for all walks of life. There will be classess, community events, a community cafe, a place to get local food, and indoor/outdoor free public spaces.
Historical Memorial
Legacy Assurance
History and the legacy that comes with it only remain alive when we can re-experience. We are creating an interactive outdoor historical memorial to Friedens Peace, the City of New Melle, and the Land we are on. In addition to the outdoor memorial, we are filling the building with decorations, artifacts, and memories of the past and present. This is a place where the memory of the past lives on to inform the current and future generations.
Contribute to Our Community
Stewards and Founders will receive a plaque with their name displayed in the community center.
